YSA- Book Cover Photography

I'm so excited to share a few images from this session with the super lovely Ysa Loveday! I was accepted into a book cover agency a few weeks before the lockdown was introduced which was frustrating because for a good few months I couldn't photograph people and I quickly learnt that as much as I would like them to, travel shots rarely sell and I much prefer being behind the camera than in front of it so as soon as we were allowed to photograph people again I decided to combine portrait sessions with book cover submissions to build up a big fairytale themed/book cover worthy catalogue.

Quite a lot of the images were accepted (I still need to add some more images to this post- Mainly the mirror shots) but it's been so much fun building on this little venture and getting experimental again with my portraits again. Ysa was an absolute pleasure to work with!- So much so that we shot again, although I will post that session at a later date.

All photos were taken in Bury, Greater Manchester whilst following social distancing measures.
